Default Tire Presser Sensor

I received my new/used 2015 F150 take off wheels from FeeBay today. They are just like the factory wheels I currently have. They are for my winter snow tires. There is just a valve stem in the wheel. I assume I need to get the tire presser sensor. What is the best place to order theses from ? Is there anything special about one sensor brand or another ?
Thanks for any help.

Nothing special for the tpms sensor, just make sure you get the ones that work at 315Mhz. The stems you have as seen from the pic do not appear to be the type you can use tpms on so you will have to replace them.

This is the difference...

Dorman is a widely used brand available at most auto parts stores. They may refer to them as tpms rebuild kits, all it is, is a new stem to bolt the tpms sensor that you have to it, so you will need the whole kit, not the rebuild kit.

When I changed wheels and tires I bought a set from http://www.jegs.com/i/Dorman+Product...4-066/10002/-1

2015 sensors are different from prior years.

You don't absolutely have to get the sensors but if you don't, your dash light will continually blink the entire time you are running your winter tires indicating that the system is not detecting any sensors.

This is a pic I took earlier , I'm not sure it shows the back of the stem close enough to tell you if I need new stems and sensors or just sensors. The neck of the valve stem has a chrome metal neck. Possibly the wheels were off a XLT or a fancier model then my XL.

As I said before, the stems on the rims are not tpms stems, if they were they would have the threaded brass protrusion from the base (see photo).

Your truck is a 2009-2014 right? If so then the previous post with link will be the correct stem/sensor combination.

If your truck is 2015 then my previous post does not apply.

I want to be sure I order the right ones, so I do appreciate any help.

Among others, your sig is crowded and you didn't specify which one you were going to put them on.

That's much better, now we know what your questions apply to.

stainlessman ...
You will need the TPMS-35 sensors ...
While they operate at the same frequency (315MHz) as the previous TPMS-12 (for 2009-2014) they are not compatible due to the difference in electronics.
