Default Tinted Tails

Ok I wasn't sure where to post this so I put it here so everyone can read it. Mods if you feel like it should be moved than I'd be more than happy to put it somewhere else.

Ok with that said I'm interested in tinting my tails using that VHt-Niteshade stuff. I'm prolly gonna go get a can of it tomorrow and try it. I forgot the member on here that did his but it came out lookin' friggin' sick as crap and yes I'm wanting to copy him....lol

I'll take detailed pics of the progress and let y'all know how it all comes out.

do a search for tinted tails, there are two or three threads floating around with good info in them.

Thanks. It was Shakezone who did it and it looks awesome!! T-Sor blacked his out which is the look that I don't want. Here's a pic of Shakezone's.

there is alot of discusion about niteshades on the mustang forums (svtperformance mostly, that I know of) and most people seem to really like it and say it isnt too hard. They are putting a couple coats of clear over it and it looks good. I like the tinted shade, as opposed to completely blacking them out.

Oh. I've heard that they aren't hard to do but Shakezone said that he had to get a coat of clearcoat sprayed on for the finish.

UPDATE: I went to 6 different auto stores here in Jax and no one sells it. Shakezone posted a website as to where to get it from but I don't have the site. I just moved into my apartment so all the move-in exspenses has got my budget kinda tight so I won't be able to do anything for awhile.

A motorcycle parts company called J&P Motorcycles carries it, just google it. Several of by biker pals used it on their bike brake lights.
