Time For New Tires, HELP!
I have a 2001 F150 XLT Triton V8 5.4 and I need new tires. The current tire size that’s on the truck right now is P275 / 60 R 17. These are the tires that came on the truck when I purchased it. I’m looking for a new tire that will be almost always on the highway but with that aggressive off road look. I want something that will ride nice and be somewhat easy on gas. Also I don’t want them to wear super fast either. So I guess I’m looking for the perfect tire, lmao. If you have any suggestions please post them. Thanks
i would have liked to put bridgestone duelers on mine (mostly hwy except for when deer season starts, then dirt roads) but went with Falken Rocky Mountain cause i got them for only 750 through my brother. hate my 18in wheels, almost worth it to put 20s on it cause its a cheaper tire to replace nowadays.
BFGOODRICH TA KO for allterrain but nice look.. nitto trail grapplers, toyo MT , bfgoodrich km2, maxxis bighorn, mickey thompson MTZ.. pro comp MTs, cooper discoverer STT mt- wear great and last a long time and nice sound to them with great performance.. all these tires will be a great purchase

Ended up putting a set of General Grabber AT2's on it. Tread pattern looks a lot like the BFG T/A's. Nice price too. We'll see how long they last though. I mean paying $50-75 less per tire sounds good unless they only last half as long. Then it sucks.
