anyone use these before? I'm looking for help with heavier loads but cant see mounting air bags on a half ton.

yep, but if you do airbags you can have on board air and train horns.

i can see doing it for lowering purposes, but for towing ans ****.... idk, I just think of a 350-450 type of truck needing bags

Timbrens:



FYI: Timbrens have a tendency to bump when you don't have a load. So if you don't mind a constant bump, bump, bump as you go over a rough road than buy the Timbrens. If you want to be able to adjust for any load (including no load) than buy the airbags.

Also...I really don't know what the poster was talking about with the trainhorn statement. I don't have on-board air. I just fill them as I need to with a compressor or any gas station. I can even put almost 40lbs in them with just a basketball type pump.

My point was that he related a train horn and on-board air like they naturally came with airbags when in reality you don't need or get either.

I think I'll move on. Trying to help and educate you here and not much of this thread is making any sense.
