Default Throttle Bodies

Just looking around at some different ways improve some mpg and add power, and the BBK throttle bodies seem to promise a lot. Anyone have any experience with them or any other throttle body upgrades out there? Is it much better than stock?

I've read good reviews on BBK's throttle bodies, but never got around to getting it myself but i did get a K&N cold air intake. If you haven't already, i do recommend it. a factory intake is definatly more of a restriction than the stock throttle body, and a new intake will also help maximize the gains of the trottle body. As far as improving milage, it really isn't going to be signifcant. As much as aftermarket parts cost, they will never pay for themselves in improved milage, you may save a few cents a tank. However increase in power is always a plus, especially if you tow or haul.

Which K&N intake did you get? I've seen 2 or 3 for F150's out there, and was also looking at the BBK because of the simplicity in installation

I had the 77 series. Install was easy, only needed a small ratchet, few sockets and a flat head screw driver. Took me maybe half an hour. It was on an 02 5.4L.
