Hold out for what you want is what I say. Seems if a truck can be tucked away for the winter, you don't have a real need for it. So wait to get one until it is EXACTLY what you want. Tell your wife hi.

1. do a cars.com search
2. Find the best trade in value for your truck( carmax, carvana, dealers etc)
3. Find the truck on cars.com with all the options you want.
4. Negotiate price on truck
5. Fly, Drive, rocket ship to the dealer with said truck.
6. Drive truck home

Lots of work but if you want a new truck you have to put in the work.

I would want to know the history of the truck. Who gets rid of a 1 year old truck with 13,000 miles that's not having issues. The truck is loaded, so it wasn't to upgrade. Get some history on that truck.

i talked to the guy, 40 yr old ,, guys got money, owns a couple reputable businesses,, buys new every year
he said he thought the 5.0 was a dog compared to his eco boost
so he traded on a 2019 Lariat eco boost
I drove the truck,,, I have all the service records etc,, couple small things oil changes etc
its legit,, if it was red, magma, silver or green I’d do the deal today

I know your wanting a KR, but i'm seeing a Magma red Lariat 18' with just under 13000 miles for $35,000 and some change in NY. I'm just looking on Autotrader.com. Also found a Magma red KR loaded for $48,995.

I'm not sure how far you are willing to drive to get it, or if this dealership is even close to you, but here you go. I drove 1/2 way across Texas to get mine, but down here we are use to that. Not sure if driving across NY is a big deal or not.
