I'm thinking about doing this, but wanted to hear your thoughts on the Mini. Would you do the Mini again, or go the FX-R? Why? Have you had a chance to see the two compared to eachother in person? If doing it over again, would you go with a different bulb, shroud, etc.? I've been trying to decide for weeks and need some help. Thanks!

I have the fx-r, 3". They fill up the shroud better imo. The mini's work good in the fog housing, although last time I heard but has been awhile that they were back ordered.

I think you're referring to the "matchbox" ones for the fogs, and you're right, they are backordered. Have you been able to compare your FX-R to a the mini? Did you do your retro yourself?

Ahh yes, that sounds right. No I haven't been able to compare, not many people around here pay to have a proper retro fit and just run hid's in halogen housings... Stupid people. Another no, I had mine retrofitted by Bilinvic

I'd like to hear from some Mini Retro folks. I'm trying to decide whether to go with the Mini (which sounds like a basic swap out) or the FX-R (which will require some modification). Want to know if it's worth the trouble or if there is that much difference; light output wise.
