Jeepers! The boys at my local Minit Lube here in Red Deer aren't even mechanics and they know exactly what they are doing. No matter what they have ever done to my vehicle is done correctly and efficiently. They are the most environmentally friendly auto service shop I have ever seen, and even their shop floor is doctor's office clean.
Send a message to people like this! I'm not a tree hugger, but we have a moral responsibility to keep our communities clean. Wild animals and pets will slurp up sweet flavored antifreeze till it kills them. Never mind the noxious effects on humans.
And be responsible in your own yards as well. Dispose of waste oil and automotive products responsibly. Five quarts or fifty quarts of oil on the ground is still a hazard. Don't throw gallons of oil out in the trash. This always ends up contaminating the water table.
And to everyone who makes the effort to keep our communities clean, I thank you!
