Default Theft Deterrent Devices?

Hey guys, I'm heading to a concert in 2 weeks time in a kind of sketchy part of town. Anyone have any cost effective ways to try and deter someone from taking your truck? I understand if they want it, they will take it. But to try and make their life harder is what I'm looking for, or make them move onto the next vehicle that is easier to take lol.

Anyone ever used 'The Club' steering wheel lock thing? Or anyone know of some fuses/relays you can pull under the hood to make the vehicle not run or start or whatever? Just curious!

Pull some pretty significant fuses / relays, such as the fuel pump relay. Also, if you unplug the throttle body, the truck will turn on and run for a few seconds, then turn itself off.

Also, moved to General for more visibility from other year groups.

The club actually deters a lot of people. They will go for something easier as not many people use the club anymore.

I second LaMartian, pull some fuses and the TB. They won't spend time figuring it out and move on.

The bonus with the club is that they will see it before they break into your truck.

Make sure you don't leave anything laying around in the truck.

Google the nearest "Secure Parking", park there and take a cab the rest of the way. Add it to the cost of the concert. At least you won't have to wonder.

I used to do that in New York City, because ALL the close in parking lots near Radio City or Broadway would be full.

All good ideas here! I am going to have to find those fuses you guys mentioned and test it here to make sure nothing happens when I go to hop in my truck after 3 hours lol.

I would normally park in a parking garage which makes me feel a little more comfortable, but most clearances around there are 6'-6", and my truck is 6'-7" to the top now I will have to google Secure Parking and see what comes up! thanks!
