Default Testing heated and cooled seats

I have a 2009 F150 with heated and cooled seats. I got the truck from a friend after the engine failed. I am parting the truck and want to test the seats before pulling and selling them, however since the engine doesn't start, it won't allow me activate the heated and cooled functions. The rest of the power functions work. Does anyone know of a way to fool the system into thinking the engine is running?

If it’s anything like my 2014 the heat and cold comes from the hvac system, so you wont be able to test them other than the blower fan anyways. You need the engine turning to run the AC compressor and pump hot coolant in for the cooling and heating of the seats
