Tailgate Step
Hello,
Recently got a 2018 F150 XLT. It is equipped with a tailgate step but when I depressed the button to pull the step out, the button did not pop back up (assuming there is a spring somewhere) nor did the step pop out to pull it out. I have tried to pry it out a little with a screwdriver but still could not get the button or step to pop out. I have searched for a diagram or something to find a part number for the button or way to get the button/step to pop out. Has anybody else had this problem and if so, what was your fix? Prefer not to have to replace the whole bumper or even step assembly. Thank you

Warranty ?
I'd take it back, have them fix it..
