Default tailgate lightbar

Found a recon tailgate lightbar on craigslist for $40. Its a 60in and I have a flareside truck so my gate is 50in I was wondering if I could cut it down and soder the ends? Is it worth it or should I just pass

I would just get a fire and ice bar it's flexible and has an adhesive on the back it does reverse breaks and turn signals I've had mine on for 2 years I think it's 75 off auto anything

Yes. What you'll have to do will depend on how it's wired inside, but lopping off some of the lights and restoring continuity should be easy enough.
