2009 xlt, supercab, 4x4... My tailgate cable on the passenger side is loose, according to ford, this is a problem in some trucks, the mounting holes are not in the correct spot.. The dealer advised that the holes must be redrilled and welded.. Im still awaiting for the ok from ford, has anyone else had this problem..

 

Search is a wonderful tool. Nothing wrong with your cables. Don't drill any holes.
