Default Tach

I need some help. My 1993 F350 7.3 idi tach is reading low.I idle at 100 rpms.Also the needle bounces with the blinker on.

Is 100rpm even high enough for an engine to idle?

Could be a lot of things...Hate to say it but this is an F150 forum (hence the name) you may not get a lot of help for a f350 here.

Theoretically, yeah.

The 7.3 is a diesel, too. So it'll be even lower than a gasser. But, that does seem really really low. Not sure of a fix.
