System too lean
I bought a 2000 f150 xlt 4x4 v8 4.6 a week ago and I failed inspection do to the system being too lean in both banks what do I do to fix it. There is also a code for cylinder 5 misfire
You didn't say how many miles on the truck but it sounds to me like you may need a complete tune-up. Maybe even a O2 sensor.
I would bet the fuel filter hasn't been changed either.
