Synethic oil
I use motorcraft but I have a 5.4, I believe the eco boosts have different oil requirements. I'm assuming you have an eco boost based off your user name. I use the motorcraft because it's made by Ford and:

I can't find a NOACK spec for MC full synth. But it's 13.8 for the 5w-30 semi-synth.

Hence - in an EB, I'd run only Pennzoil Ultra - not M1, not MC. It even beats Signature on NOACK. As stated, it ain't the oil, it's the engine.
