I have an iPhone and when I connect I can not hear and notifications or if my kids are playing games there is no sound. Also why can't I receive text thru sync?

 

iPhone OS will not communicate text messages with Sync's text system but I do get notifications, while I'm using my iPhone only though. If you are making a call, or listening to music via bluetooth it should work. I don't know that you should expect normal notifications to come over the stereo though if your iPhone is not in use.

 

So if I'm connected to the Bluetooth and my kids are playing on the phone they won't hear the sound from the games? If I'm listening to the radio the texts to my phone wont notify me with a sound? Not that I text went I drive but I wont know that there is a text unless I look at the phone.
