When I hook up my Iphone 5 to sync, incoming calls come through the vehicle speakers.
The issue in having is when a text message or email comes through on my phone there is no sound from the phone or vehicle speakers.

Is there a way to fix this so i can hear texts and emails?

 

Under the bluetooth settings on the phone, did you turn on notifications of texts?
Don't believe there is an option for emails. As long as its not on vibrate, I believe the mail notification overrides any sound playing via Bluetooth

 

There is no setting under blue tooth for text settings.
It's a simple turn on/off
