Is anyone else getting frustrated with the lack of updates for any pre-2011 F-150s? I see new features released for 2011 sync systems such as talk to text options, but nothing for my year or earlier.

 

I've never been to Syncmyride cuz my Sync works fine.

Never run a vehicle report, neither.

I try to avoid the FoMoCo's mothership at all costs.

What's the problem with yours?

 

It's just buggy at times, especially when receiving calls when listening to USB or Bluetooth music.

Other than the buggy behavior, I would like to get the updates to allow me to dictate text messages by voice commands. FMC has released an update for 2011-2012 sync systems, why not release the same updates for earlier models?

 

The update released is not for F-150's. It's only for the Edge, Explorer, Focus, etc that have the MyTouch system. The F-150 of course does NOT have this system.

While I agree the Sync system could certainly be improved, all these updates and articles Ford is releasing have nothing to do with the F-150.
