Picked up my new 2017 XLT Supercrew Saturday. The salesman did a quick run through on the truck controls at the dealership and I know he said I could set up my climate control for preset temps. I have been watching the ford tutorial videos and I still can't figure out how to do this on my truck. I did notice that I dont have the thermometer symbol between the music and phone icons. Can someone explain how to do this or post a link to a video showing me what I'm overlooking

I have a 2017 Platinum and I am not able to set the climate control to preset temps.

That was a feature in Sync 2 that didn't come over to Sync 3.

 

Hard to believe a $50,000 truck doesn't come with climate control. My 2011 Sierra SLE even had it.

After reading your post, i thought, "hey, that's kinda cool.... i didn't know my truck could do that!' well, turns out, it can't. After reviewing the owners manual, the sync help videos and reading other threads i found nothing. i thought i recall seeing a trim package that had climate control through the touch screen instead of below it, and perhaps that's how its controlled via voice.

does anyone know if this can be activated through forscan?
