A super charger is bascally a air compressor ran by your engine iys our possible to build one yourself

Possibly, with the right knowledge of fluid dynamic pressure tensiometer, Just kidding. I am sure you could, but it is not so much as just pressure but volume also. I would think that if it is that easy we would all have supercharged motors. If you have an idea, and it works patent that bad boy, you will be rich.

That's awesome. I love that blower design. To answer your question, yes you could make your own. It would cost about 100 times more than just buying one though. One of my acquantances (I wouldn't consider myself worthy enough to be called a friend) is the lead engineer for John Force racing. He designs his own superchargers and mills them all out on a CNC machine. Of course, you kind of have to make your own supercharger when it's on a 13,000 hp nitro methane engine. Not a whole lot of demand for that sort of thing. He CNCs his own engine blocks too.

so I would not be saving any money doing it myself don't get me wrong though I think I could build 1 pretty knowledgeable on this kind of stuff

Yes, it seriously is. I guess someone told him that an electric supercharger wasn't good, so he did that.

you know with those weed eaters and enough hose you could tuck those under the hood of my 94 pretty easy and just splice them into them into the line...no what am i saying...


lol ratchet straps are the best...shoulda used duct tape!
