Default Super 10s.

First off I'd like to say this is my first time posting so please bare with me if this is incorrect.

I recently bought flowmaster super 10 si/do for my 2011 5.0 f150. I was wanting a loud exhaust but its not as loud as I thought. I do still have the stock resornator, and cats on. if I take these off how much louder would it be our what else could I do to make it louder?

I wouldn't mess with anything else. Take the cats off might void the warranty..

The Super 44 is a two chamber while the Super 10 is a one chamber, so the 10 should be louder. You should be able to remove the resonator to get more volume, the cats should not be touched as that gets into legal issues.

So just had the resonator removed today and I tell you what, it really made a big difference. I love it. Thanks for all the help. I'll try and upload some videos tomorrow and pics of my truck.

what kind of difference did the resonator removal make, deeper? throatier? or just plain louder? I have the fm 40 series. I also have edge cs, if I remove the resonator, are there any settings on the edge that I would need to change?

I just tried out my 93 performance tune from PHP today and it's pretty intense.

It made it all three. Louder, deeper, throatier. You can tell its a super 10 now. And as far as the programmer goes I believe you shouldn't have to change anything but I'm not really programmer savvy.

Cat back modifications do not need to be accounted for it tuning. If you were to change the flow past the front O2 sensors then it would need true custom tunes to correct it.

thanks to both of yall for the info. I'm going to be replacing the cats with the magnaflow ones in the near future so I'll probably just do it all at once.
