Default sun roof?

had a crazy idea about putting a pop up sunroof in the truck, something like this, http://www.tgautomotive.com/product_p/np1636b5h.htm , anybody put an aftermarket sun roof in their truck? i hate the thought of drilling holes for lights let alone a biga** hole!

I think its a bit more than just cutting out a bigger hole compared to roof lights. My thinking, and it could be TOTALLY WRONG, makes me believe that if you remove such a large area, you would be changing the structural integrity of the roof/cab. You might need to weld/tack in a metal frame prior to cuttin out the roof, but again, i could be totally wrong. I think it would look good, both in and out on your truck.

I dont think you have to do any special reinforcement to the roof structure....my truck has a moonroof in it and as far as I know they didnt do anything to compensate for the huge hole.

If you're going to cut a hole you should go all the way and put in a moon roof

I have the factory sunroof in my truck and i know for a fact that in 2002 they removed the old roof support and replaced it with a bigger on. But its a power sunroof. I know this cause last month i found out the banging in my headliner was the old roof support bracket. no joke.
