Stripped Bolt A/C Compressor 5.4 HELP!!!
You were exactly right, I had to cut in to the housing which did leave some of the bolt left in the block of the motor which came right out after I was able to get it cut. Never in my wildest dreams I would have though an A/C Compressor would have been a pain like this. Thank you.

I am currently changing a compressor out for my buddy on a 1996 Ford F-150 5.4L I managed to remove the two bolts on the front of the compressor just fine, but when I got to the back one it was stripped and I can’t get anything on it to get it off. I have roughly an inch to get on the head of the bolt.
