I've had a few get in my here and there, usually when a door or window is left open. But I've never seen what I call a "whole bunch" of them in any 1 place.

I've had the occasional flies, dragon flies, box elders, bees, lady bugs in my vehicles and a spider infestation in my old '64 Plymouth but never stink bugs.
This is one for the Guinness World Book of Records!

They've got to be getting in from an open window. I'd vacuum them up with a shop vac.

Those things are evil, and like someone said, don't smash them

Yes, and i've heard that the stink that goes off when you squish them, also attracts more stink bugs. We've had them in our house, they are horrible.

Very common in Florida and would not be surprised if one got in my truck. BUT, when you say there are lots of them, you got to wonder.

Hope you figure it out.

I keep several extra work shirts, a couple of jackets, and safety vests hanging up in the back of my work van. A couple of weeks ago I moved them to get to a case behind them and stink bug fell to the floor of the van. I grabbed my whisk broom and flung it out of there. As I tried again to get that case out, another one fell on the floor. I proceeded to check the shirts, etc. to find more than a dozen in between those shirts. I found probably another 6 to 10 over the next couple of days all in the same place...nowhere else in the van. I believe one got in there and laid some eggs, as all of the ones I found were on the smallish size as compared to what I normally see. Thankfully none let loose on their stank.

Yeah once them bugs start laying eggs, its an infestation in the making.

We got tons of box elders here sort of similar to stink bugs.
Every Spring there's dozens upon dozens of them congregating in one spot around my house.
Big ones and small ones crawling all over each other. Makes it easy to get rid of them all at once.

We also got a lot of birds around here but they won't eat them or lady bugs.

I love stinkbugs. Nothing better than slipping on your old boots and finding out one was in them
The stink is also a defense mechanism. So if you remove them, do it carefully. I've removed plenty with something like a napkin and patience and they didn't stank all over me
