Default Sticker removal

Hello all,
I'll be taking delivery of my new F150 on or about Aug.14. I know that the truck was built and paint applied on Aug.1. Does anyone see any reason not to strip off the cheesy 'sport' stickers right away? Should I wait awhile for the paint to cure? I intend to use a hair drier. Thanks

The paint has cured before it even leaves the factory. Take them off the second you get it if you want.

I put the truck bed facing the summer sun for one hour and the sticker peeled right off with no issue. Rotated truck, another hour, and repeat. The truck was only a week old though. It may be tougher if they've been on there longer.

My sticker has been on for 2 years and I just peeled it off. It was warm out and it came right off in one piece.

I second this. I just started on one corner wih my thumbnail on my 14 and they came right off. A little goof off removed the little glue that remained.

Simple Green works really well at removing residue from stickers or emblems also.

use a hair dryer to heat it up and it peels off in 1 shot. take it off cold and it comes off in pieces. I did to my '14 and just washed it. No discoloring or left over goo.

Do it on a warm day, apply a little heat with a hair dryer, then use wd40 to remove the residue... did mine a few days after getting the truck. Dont forget to apply wax to the area after removal.
