Default Sticker Price vs Negotiated Price

Hi all -

I apologize if this has been covered an I missed it, but I'm looking to trade my 11 XLT screw 5.5 box for a 14 screw with a 6.5 box. My question is this: how much have you guys been able to haggle down on sticker (or up from invoice)? I've found a few nice 14 XLTs with decent options and a 6.5 bed for 33-34k. The "out the door price" is marked up to 37500 which includes taxes, tags, prep and bed liner. Good deal? Shady? Thoughts?? At 3% apr for 72 mos with a 2k trade that would put me around $500 mo.

Thanks!

Dont shop payment. Look at the invoice price, then tally all the rebates. there are a lot available. If you are financing, do the math to see if it is to your benefit to forego some of the rebates for the 0% financing. The truck I just got stickered around 39 and they sold it for 31.

What is this infamous invoice price of which everyone speaks? Any "invoice" price I've ever seen doesn't mean squat.

My MSRP was just over 41K and I paid just over 31K (+ T & L) but it's a SCab not a SCrew. I feel I got a good deal.

Invoice is a lot less than msrp. I ordered a 14 and got $14700 off the msrp, but still higher than invoice.

I'd also like to know where to find this mythical beast. Is it on the window sticker? Is it that price?

I'm looking to buy at the end of June... Hoping to double dip on end of quarter push and 4th of July sales. I suck at this game, so any insight I can get is building my knowledge bank.

Thanks everyone.

Once again, where does one get this elusive "invoice" price?

In this area it seems 8 to 10 K of MSRP is typical. Sometimes you'll hear of 11 to 12 K off but that's rare.

Also, the higher MSRPs likely produce the higher mark downs.

What was the MSRP on the above mentioned $14700 discount.

Dealers are telling me their cost is irrelevant and inflating their actual cost to make it seem like I'm getting a good deal. I never pay more than 4-5% above actual dealer cost factoring in all incentives and he backs from the mfr

MSRP for my King Ranch ,Screw ,eco ,6.5 bed was $54k and I was out the door at 43k and change. I'm happy and that's all that counts.

Msrp was $54700. The discount included $4700 from x plan, and $10000 in rebates which is still above invoice. You won't find it advertised, its on the dealers paperwork.
