Default Stero question

Hello, I'm posting this on behalf of someone else.

We are going to be installing aftermarket subs in his truck, and just want to make sure removal of the stock sub and amplifier will not mess with anything?

With all these electronics, I'm just checking to make sure the rest of stero and equipment won't go crazy by removing the amp behind the seat.

Just unplug the sub and wire in your aftermarket sub and amp. Leave the oem amp alone.
