I took my 2018 F150 XLT into ford today since the stereo has been broken for a couple of months. Won't turn on at all and was told there is an APIM issue and the whole thing needs replaced. Was quoted $1,100 to replace it. Curious if anyone else has ran into this problem and if there were any better options? Thanks!

Check the sales threads around here for a cheaper alternative. If I were in that situation, I'd be looking at an aftermarket setup instead.
