I've always considered myself a pretty good mechanic but this one has me baffled. I own a 1997 F 150 lariatwith a 4.6 literthe truck is completely stock except for a Flowmaster exhaustit has 1.2 million miles on itand is still in great shapebut recently after starting it and driving it. I will go to start it and all it will do is crankif I let it sit for a while then it will startI was thinking possibly a bad fuel pump or restriction in the fuel systemI'll check the real pressure and I've replaced the fuel filter but it still persistscould I have possibly a sensor or ignition problem.I have replaced the plug wires the plugs and coils but it still happens
