Starter??
I bought a brand new battery for my 2002 f150, about 5 days later the fuel pump went out. While awaiting service for the fuel pump the battery died. After replacing the fuel pump I hooked up my truck to another truck. While the other truck gave me power for the lights, radio, etc., when I turn the key to start the engine nothing happens, not even a click. I left the two trucks connected for about 30 minutes and still nothing... My question is, do you think the starter went out while I was trying to get it started before I diagnosed the fuel pump? Or is it possible the problem is the battery?
