One mile per hour over. You bad boy you! You're lucky you're not here in Canada. The offense has a major penalty. I believe they phone your Mom and tell her you don't play well with others. And don't even think of crying when you most certainly get grounded! Lol!

I'm still not sold... I don't think any of our speedometers are that precise... to me 1 mph is a bit of a stretch...

 

What's the fine? Like 20 bucks? Just pay it and move on. It's not worth the money spent to fight it. That being said I'm sure everyone's feet get a little heavy... I've been pulled over for "10 over" and got a verbal warning. I wasn't going over 20 when I was within radar range.

 

Used to be in the 1980's and early '90s those tickets were commonplace in a little pothole on rt 190 going to Ft. Hood....in a little craphole called Nolanville, Tx. The speed limit was 55, 56 and you were speeding, 54 and you were impeding the flow of traffic.

I got a ticket for doing 36 in a 35 years ago, it was a 30+ year old hair up the cops' butt because my dad had thrown him off of the schoolbus years ago. I went home, showed my father the ticket, and he said just pay the damned thing.

Yes, some officers do write tickets for 1 mph over, but there are normally other issues at play. Nolanville needed money, so they ticketed soldiers knowing the CoC would enforce collection.

The ticket I got in MA was because one idiot couldn't get over something that had happened decades ago.

Or......you irritated the officer after he pulled you over.

 

Its a waste of your time but that'll get thrown out. Had an officer (that doesn't work in the town over anymore) that was doing this sort of thing. couple mph over stuff, the judge got up and just said 'if anyone is here for speeding from so-and-so, its dismissed. He was fed up with this guys tickets.

60-65 but ya only get pulled over if you get cocky. Yea 1 mile over that's bogus here the limit is 4-9 over they can't even get you for going 3 over fight it but be chill good luck

 

Was it in a school zone? I know in Phoenix you can get a ticket for 1 over in a school zone.. But other than that, you can't

 

I got pulled over one time for 2 miles over in a 55. It was 1:30 am so I know he was looking for a DUI. I had not been drinking and just got a warning.

Our State trooper tickets dont say how much ur goin over they just say ur speeding. But he specificaly told me i was goin 1 mile over
