Fun story to kill the time. The second to last time I bought plugs from a well known/respected tuner. I got my 6 plugs in the mail, 2 weren’t gapped right and they were all in their little boxes without the protective sleeve and then all in a bigger box without any padding or space filler…so the plugs were just bouncing around the box like a baby’s rattler. So I sent them back and waited another 2 weeks. The things I can do, like gap a plug, change the oil, change the plugs, rotate the tires…I do myself. I could pay someone to do almost anything for me but I don’t.
didn’t mean pay someone to gap them… just buy (plugs that come from factory) at the gap you need/want

I’ll admit, I only searched for about 2 min but the plugs my tuner recommended ( Ford Performance M-12405-35T) come gapped too high. The only two other places I checked were 5star and MPT as they usually recommend the same plugs, but they gap them and ship them to you at .030.

plus, who doesn’t want more tools? In all seriousness, this way I can source them cheaper and gap them instead of relying on a tuner…and I’m not smacking them on the table 😂

edited to add: ford makes them at .031…MPT and 5star gap them and resell them

I've been looking at the same tool you posted. Not sure why it's controversial lol.

lol, it’s the forums.

if I had posted asking for recommendations for a torque wrench I would’ve gotten, Husky, snap on, then 100 replies about how I don’t need one and another 100 about how they need to be calibrated and all that so it’s a waste.

its all comical

I’ll let you know what I get

Grabbed this one. $15 on Amazon. Had a credit as well so grabbed it with some diapers and that’s a wrap.

Good, that's the exact one I was looking at, that red one.

The last turbo I had was a 1985. That kind just seems more accurate to me and easy to use.
