Default Spark plug dilemma

HELP!! I have a 2012 FX4 with the EcoBoost. I have seen messages for gapping spark plugs from.037 to .028. Can someone tell me which direction to go with this? Somewhere in the middle or??? Has anybody tried the Brisk spark plugs that do not have to be gapped? I did and what a disaster. It is running awful!!!!! No engine mods have been done.

i went to the ford parts for my plugs. they said change the boots also. all mine were pre gaped at .030. they said even exchange if any were not in the .030-.032 range. i think stage3motorsports has them as well.

Stick with Motorcraft and gap at 0.030". The lower gaps are probably for guys that are running aggressive tunes.

Bought MotorCraft last night, gapped them at .030 and it's running like a champ this morning. Hoping gas mileage goes⤴️⤴️⤴️

Seems like the best place to ask my spark plug question... I have a 09 F150 4x4 5.4L with a SCT performance/tow tune. I run 91-93 octane whichever is available. Its time for a tune up and I am looking for suggestions on the best plug to go with. Any suggestions? TIA

I see you run a 5* tune. What plug do recommend? I run an aggressive tune

What do you guys think of NGK laser iridium plugs? My 16 has 20k miles but I've heard they should be changed around 30k? I'm not used to having to change plugs so soon but then again I've always had V8 and not a V6 with turbo. I do feel a bit of a miss at idle and have thought about at least checking the gap on the plugs.

I'm curious, did you measure the gap of the plugs you took out?
