Default SoundScreen

My new-to-me 2014 F150 CrewCab has a label on the windshield indicating it is equipped with SoundScreen glass.

Carlite identifies Soundscreen as:

SoundScreen® acoustic windshields are made of a layer of sound-absorbent vinyl sandwiched between two sheets of glass. It reduces noise levels by as much as 6dB between 1500Hz and 5000Hz, and 2 to 3dB overall, which allows conversation and audio to be heard more clearly.

Acoustic vinyl also helps engineers improve fuel economy because the acoustic vinyl’s sound dampening properties offset the need for thicker, heavier glass.

Is the Soundscreen glass used just for the windshield or is it used also for front and rear door glass, rear window and sunroof?

Coming from an F350 SD to the F150, the F150 is def more quiet but still can use some reduction. Was in the process of incrementally installing CLD/CCF/MLV when a 5 car (well, 3 car 2 truck) pileup ended that project. Will begin working on the F150 soon.

Side glass is usually tempered glass. The MKT I had had laminated side glass, but I think the F150 is still tempered. I have a 16 so looking at mine wont help you, but if you go look, there is some printing on the window that specifies if it is laminated or tempered.
