Default Sound when accelerating

I got a question for all you Ecoboost owners. Everytime I hit the gas, not mashing it but simply driving I hear a sound that sorta sounds like air sucking through the filter. I'm not sure if it is the turbos winding up or air whooshing through the air filter? What do you guys think it is?

No I hear the turbo whistle around 2000 rpms but it just sounds like I have a CAI and it sucking air but my air intake is stock. I don't know if it's the sound of the turbos spooling up or what

I think what you are describing is normal. Even with stock it is pretty noticeable. I switched to an aftermarket CAI and more than anything it enhanced the sound. That's about all the aftermarket does though.
