So I have this old F-150 (1996, standard transmission, 6 cylinder). I have gotten it to the point where it should pass inspection, however I need to change oil and filters and...I can not get the engine hood to open.

I pull the hood release inside the cab and I *think* the cable is broken somewhere.

So my question is...how do I get my hood open? (Even asking this question makes me feel a bit dopey but Im stuck).

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
