Default Sluggish Power

I installed some new lights today and in doing so had to disconnected my battery for a minute.
Tonight, while driving, i was low on power when started from a stop, or accelerating from a lower speed. It felt almost as if i was pedaling a bicycle, but starting from a stop in a high gear----it was like my truck was starting in 2nd gear.
Would disconnecting the battery have anything to do with this??
Either way, what could this be???
Thanks

I was just reading up on misfires...could my sparks plugs possibly be bad to be causing this lag in power?

How long is for a minute? Any time the battery is disconnected for any length of time the computer resets and there is a relearning time. Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable on this will chime in. I know when mine was disconnected for 30 minutes it cleared the code and I had to drive for awhile before it settled out.

Anytime the battery is disconnected for a time period all keep alive memory such as fuel strategies and trans shift strategies is lost and must be relearned according to your driving habits.

It is typical, but not usually that noticable. I normally allow my truck to idle for 10 minutes after disconnecting the battery. I have heard that it can take up to an hour of driving for the comp to relearn your driving habits.
