Question Slow Start

my 4-6 starts like crap.no codes or fuel pressure problems that i can find.50k,otherwisE it runs good.any ideas?????THE TRUCK IS AN 04 EXPEDITION

Before anything clean the cable connections on the battery posts. Have the dealer or who ever may have the capability to run a stress test on it and you'll find an answer. I replaced my battery to fix mine. Low miles long time on it.

Assuming you are speaking of slow to fire up and not slow to crank with the starter, I would recommend checking the fuel pressure again and watch how long pressure is maintained after engine is turned off. Should hold pressure for 30 seconds or more. Less is no good, regulator is leaking and there is now pressure on start up. Another way to verify is to turn key on and off 2-3 times before engaging starter. This will re-establish fuel pressure.

Agree with Bill - i have starting problem using rear fuel tank - in my case the fuel pump gives low pressure. If it will not help - check ignition plugs
