Default Slippery Clutch

ok,this is a ford question not one on f150 thou. but my mom has a 2001 mustang gt 5 speed,and the clutch has some kind of oil based liquid on it,the power steering is leaking so could it be that??? any answers would be appreciated. Thanks!

I doubt powersteering fluid would make its way to the clutch. Usually if you have oil of some type on the clutch, it's motor oil from a leaking rear main seal on the engine, tranny fluid from a leaking front seal on the transmission., or brake fluid from a leaking clutch slave cylinder

well its not actually the clutch clutch,its the pedal inside the car.

Look up under the dash the clutch master cylinder is leaking from the back side.

That's right. My 1990 F150 leaked too. Brake fluid all down the firewall. Pretty easy fix, not too expensive either.
