Default Simple Mod Questions

I have a 1994 Ford F150 XLT.

I have saome things I want to do to it, but I am insure of how it might be done.

I have a stnadard Short bed, but I want to pop on a Flare/Step side bed onto it, my question is:

Will the mounting points be the same?

I have an E4OD Auto Transmission, and I want to convert it to a Manual, Questions are:

Will I need another engine or an adapter to do it?

What is the best manual tranmission to use?

What is the estimated cost I will have to pay?

I have a Bech seat, but I want (2) Black Leather Captains Chairs:

Will Fabrication be needed to fit them in?

Thanks to whoever can help!

I am not fimillar with the seat options from the factory, but anyone should be able to get those seats to fit in.

and insted of just getting a whole new bed, you should be able to just get the fenders and put them on.

lol, thats the thing, this thing has more interior rot/rust than a 67 Chevy.

So I think I would be better off with a whole new bed!

Your mounting points for the bed should be the same.
to change over your transmission you will have to change over your flywheel, pedal, install master cyl....
just curious....why change out the tranny?

ok, 1st thank you for clarifying the mounts are similar.

and 2nd, you both are not the first to ask that, I hate driving automatics and after dropping in 4 E4OD trannies in 2 years I am sick of it, and I want to convert it to a more reliable tranny.
