Default Silverado Value?

I am currently in negotiations, im trying to trade in my 2006 F-150 FX4 with 49k miles-6inch lift, 20 inch moto metal rims, 325.60.20 toyo A/T, ect. it has some problems. broken cv boot, plastic bed rail coming up, power sliding rear window doesnt work. they are giving me 18k for it. my question is what is a reasonable price to pay for a 2009 silverado 1500 tx edition(extended cab not crew) with 30k on the odometer.
thanks for the help.

Don't think you'll get much of an answer from this site. Haven't really looked at the price of a Silverado much in the past so couldn't say.

Usually, Silverado's have about the same resale and trade in values as F150's. Ram's on the other hand... tank.

Oh... and this is a little vague. Can you elaborate?

Those of us that enjoy trucks in general but are not fanboys of any brand are neutral.

I personally prefer to buy a Ford but will gladly purchase anything made by the hands of Americans.

I would have to rate the value as crap! With all the gov't loans chevy has received, we all should get a vehicle for free from them. Thats my opinion on a Silverado's value.
