My opinion is different from the others! If you can afford it and want a new truck,go for it!!! You only live once,AND all your money ain't worth a crap to you after you die.

31k all stop and go mileage. Longest freeway in Hi is like 18 miles from downtown to Barbers point unless that have added since 1984 when I left. I was there 3 years and put 7700 miles on my car.

I still have 3 years of payments left on my current truck because I leased it first and then I bought it at the end of my lease. For some reason the truck has developed some kind of electrical issues and when you use the turn signal I hear a static like sound every now and then and ford can't figure it out. The other thing that concerns me is that my engine build date still has the bad spark plug design. My friend did shoe up to my house today with a 2012 FX4 Screw with an ecoboost, it had all of the options that I want except for the sony stereo system. And man did it drive nice had the appearance package and the spray in bed liner I was impressed with the power I drove the truck for an half hour and was happy with it he's telling me he can get it to me at $600. A month is that a good deal?

Agree with above. Debt is an anchor that will suck the very life out of you. You will end up letting debt service dictate your future wealth. I would not do this unless you can write a check for the truck. Just my 2 cents.

Like previously mentioned, don't look at the monthly payment. Look at the overall price that you will be paying for just the new truck. Once you have a set purchase price, get a price on your trade. That's the only true way to know if you are getting a fair deal. Hell, I'm a cop and could afford a brand new Lamborghini if I financed it for 15 years, but that doesn't make financial sense.

Oh, and you are trading 3 years of debt for 6 years of debt. Problem is that in 3 years you may be tempted to trade into another newer vehicle with another 6 year note. This is a recipe for life long payments. Enjoy.
