IMO I never liked the 2 tone look. I do however like the chrome bumpers so wouldn't paint them.

My truck is an all black 04 SCREW. I never liked the 2 tone paint myself. It kind of looks like an old man truck to me. No offense! I would however keep the chrome bumper. I had thought about changing mine to black also. I came to the conclusion that would be too much black and you run the risk of losing the lines of the truck IMO.

So yes to all black paint and no to the black bumper.

I don't care for the 2-tone look either.

I went with the two-tone because the single color F-150s get boring to me. For my eye the two-tone helps set off the lower half of the body line. But I see both types around that I really dig. Just thought I'd try it and I love it on my truck.

Both sound good to me .. But it's your truck, and you should be happy with what you want .. and you can put Custom Paint Job in your mods if you have your list

Mines all black & bumpers chrome! Add one more to the no column on two tone. I only like black and white trucks with one color. All the other colors i would get two tone as I think they look better that way.

I've usually had chrome bumpers. This truck came with a painted bumper from the factory. It's different for me, so I'm enjoying the different look. Like someone said a few posts back; it's your truck, and you most certainly should do what's going to keep you happy with it.

Be prepared to wash the truck every day.
I say go for it, all black is much nice than the 2 tone of that era
