I Just received my 6 3/4" antenna from theantennasource.com yesterday. so far I am really impressed with it. I have not noticed any decrease of signal and can still pick up all of the 18 of the presets that i had programmed in.

Had this one installed for the past week and no change in reception for any of my am/fm stations.

I did this exact same thing. I tried 2 different antennas that were shorter, both had horrible reception and both made a whistle sound on the highway. I ended up cutting the stock antenna and JB welding the ball back on the tip. It was free, looks stock, and no noticeable change in reception.

If you did, you are lucky.

I purchased a 6” antenna from Auto Zone. Lost a little reception but nothing I can’t live with. Looks good and the $15 price tag wasn’t bad either.

I run the 50 cal bullet antenna, The ronin one. Works well for me, have not noticed any bad reception. In truth I listen to a lot of satellite radio as well.

I have this one on.

It's actually an antennae from an AP.

It works great, but not as good as the stock one as far as operating distance.

But I usually listen to podcasts anyway, too many commercials on the radio.

If you're not listening to FM, you can remove the antenna mast.
