I have an 04 F150 5.4l 4x4 automatic transmission. When i put it in drive and accelerate, I can feel it shift into second gear, then about 35 miles per hour, it disengages from gear and i'm coasting until i slow back down to about 20, then it engages, gets me back to 35, then disengages again. Anybody have any insight to this problem? Im really hoping just a torque converter or solenoid instead of a new transmission.
