Default Shifter stuck in Neutral

I was using my pro trailer backup assist on my 2024 F-150 Lariat, as I have done several times, and right after the truck put the ball under the connection, the truck got stuck in neutral. The light by the "N" near the shifter is flashing, and it will not move into P or anywhere else. I turned the engine off and it will not turn on since I cannot put it in Park. I've tried a number of things suggested by ChapGPT, including disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and reconnecting it, but nothing was worked. Has anyone had a similar issue?

I had a 2014 Fusion that did that. It was a broken cable on the shift linkage.

The truck did not give any diagnostic for the above issue, but three days after the above problem, my truck gave this diagnostic "Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power" and it said to take to an authorized dealer. I took it into the dealer, it is under warranty, and they said it needed a new shift control module, which likely caused the above problem as well.
