2006 Ford F150 Crew. Got my truck into the driveway and when I went to put it in Park and it just kept rolling and had a difficult time getting the key out. Now the shift lever is just going left to right with no engagement of any gear. There is also no tension at all on the lever and the key will does not do anything when turned.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

 

Your shift cable is broken. You can manually engage the transmission by sliding the linkage on the side of the transmission all the way forward I believe.
