Quick question, how do I get the **** off of my 5-Speed manual? Also, do you know what size the bottom of it is?

 

If its like my ranger was it is pressed on instead of threaded.

 

Yeah, it pops off with a lot of force. Don't ask me how to get the shift lever off the transmission. There is one bolt down there, and I was totally unsuccesful in getting it off the transmission once I removed that bolt.

It is pretty stupid. Mine actually let loose while I was driving. I ended up making a special adapter to put a after market one on. Since I couldn't find anything to work right with it.
