Default Seriously conflicted

What's going on guys this is my first post here my names dave and I need some serious help, I looked at a stx 2.7 ecoboost f150 and planned on buying it since with the rebates and all it was now affordable but then I find out they have this new revised 2.7 motor and 10 speed tranny coming out and it has me stuck thinking is the 17 worth while getting or will I be kicking myself if I buy it and then 3 months later I'm jealous of all the 18's rolling around .

Please someone help lmao

The new STX has the exterior upgrades, and with all the engine changes for 2018, the 2.7 EB might get better gas mileage. The 2017's are discounted. If you want a 2018, I recommend you wait until there are some incentives.

Just wait until you've seen a few 2018's and decide which you want more....

Saving a little money is always attractive, but you'll probably be better off just getting the one that puts a smile on your face. That is more true the longer you keep vehicles.

Well I'm sort of in the same boat, but I'm certain I can't afford a 2018. It's either buy a '17 F150 or lease a Ram. I know I'll be infinitely happier with buying an F150, but I usually lease, so the difference in payments between leasing and buying is just hard to get over. If I were you I would just go with a '17. Anything first generation like the new tranny scares me away.

I'm stuck between the ram 5.7l and the 2.7 eco , everyone of my buddies say I should shoot for the 5.7, they think a twin turbo v6 is asking for long term reliability issues

The 2.7 is getting a new port and direct injection system and the 10 speed tranny the 3.5 uses . So looking at the 17' has me kind of bummed out now and can't decided wether the 5.7 ram with the newer 8 speed tranny with a good rebate is now the better option then a outdated 17' with a rebate

You already made up your mind. Never second guess what you "might" buy. Wait for the 2018.

How do you guys feel about the 5.7 in the rams , I like that it's not an arm and a leg to pay for the top motor but im just looking for opinions honestly , I'm so stuck on ram or ford
